Ski Tours & Freeride
Define Your Line with FIL Alpin
Escape the boundaries of the marked slopes and discover the wild side of the Alps. Whether you crave the adrenaline of lift-accessed freeride runs, the solitude of a ski tour into the silent backcountry, or the ultimate luxury of a heli-skiing adventure, our certified mountain guides are your key to the region’s best-kept secrets. We prioritize safety and local knowledge, leading you to untracked powder stashes in St. Moritz, Davos, Andermatt, and beyond—tailoring the risk and exertion level strictly to your skills.
Structure
1. Lift-Accessed Freeride
Deep snow, zero hiking. Maximize your downhill time. We utilize the extensive lift networks of resorts like Davos-Klosters, St. Moritz, and Laax to gain altitude effortlessly before dropping into secured “sidecountry” terrain. This is the perfect introduction to off-piste skiing, focusing on powder technique and line choice without the need for strenuous climbing.
Focus: Powder technique, steep couloirs, safety management, and vertical descent.
2. Backcountry Ski Touring
Earn your turns. Leave the crowds and lift lines behind. Using climbing skins and touring bindings, we venture into pristine, untouched valleys where silence reigns. Whether it’s a gentle introductory tour or a high-alpine summit ascent, we tailor the route to your fitness level, rewarding your effort with long, un-tracked descents in wild nature.
Focus: Skinning technique, remote valleys, fitness, and pure solitude.
3. Heli-Skiing & Heli-Taxi
The ultimate alpine freedom. Access the inaccessible. Our private heli network connects you to the most remote glaciers and peaks in minutes. We offer heli-skiing drops for long glacier runs or exclusive Heli-Taxi transfers between icons like Zermatt, St. Moritz, and the Dolomites (partnering with Dolomites on SKI). Experience the Alps from above and ski the heart of the 2026 Winter Olympics region.
Focus: High-alpine glaciers, exclusive access, speed, and cross-border adventure.
4. Resort Discovery (Ski Safari)
Explore, dine, and cruise. Not every adventure requires deep powder. For those who prefer groomed slopes, we offer guided “Ski Safaris” across massive interconnected domains like the Silvretta Arena (Ischgl/Samnaun) or Arosa-Lenzerheide. We handle the navigation and logistics, guiding you on a relaxed tour of the best pistes, scenic viewpoints, and hidden gastronomic gems.
Focus: Navigation, distance coverage, scenery, and gourmet mountain lunch.
5. Avalanche Safety Refresher
Knowledge saves lives. Essential for any off-piste skier. We offer dedicated clinics focusing on mountain safety, usually booked at the start of your trip or season. We move beyond basic skiing to practice realistic single/multi-victim rescue scenarios, snowpack analysis, and effective route planning using beacons, probes, and shovels.
Focus: Transceiver drills, snow science, risk assessment, and emergency protocols.
