Can my child join an open group lesson as an individual?
Currently, no. FIL Alpin specializes exclusively in Private Tuition, meaning you hire an instructor dedicated solely to your own children or a pre-formed group of their friends/siblings. We do not place children into mixed public classes with strangers to ensure maximum safety and personal attention.
However, we are actively developing partnerships for the 2026-27 season. We plan to launch curated Kids' Ski Camps and Weekend Courses in easily accessible Graubünden resorts, designed specifically for families commuting from key hubs like Zurich, Chur, Lugano, and St. Gallen. If you represent a school, a parents' association, or are interested in these future youth programs, please contact us to express your interest.
What is the minimum age my child can start skiing and/or snowboarding?
We love welcoming young adventurers!
Mini Skiers: We support little ones from as young as 3 years old.
Young Snowboarders: Ready to strap in from 8 years old.
