What is the minimum age my child can start skiing and/or snowboarding?
We love welcoming young adventurers!
Mini Skiers: We support little ones from as young as 3 years old.
Young Snowboarders: Ready to strap in from 8 years old.

We are a family/group with mixed skiing abilities. Can we book separate instructors?
Absolutely! Whether you're a big family, multiple families or simply a group of friends with varying skill levels, we can arrange for multiple, dedicated instructors to ensure everyone gets the attention they need for an unforgettable day.

While traditional ski schools excel at managing large numbers with fixed timetables, FIL Alpin offers a bespoke experience centered entirely around your needs. We do not force you into a strict 9:00 AM start at a crowded meeting point; instead, we tailor the schedule to your holiday rhythm, meeting you at your hotel or on the mountain when it suits you. We act as your local concierge, guiding you to the best snow and securing table reservations, rather than just teaching you to turn.
How far in advance should I book my ski lessons?
We highly recommend booking at least two to three months in advance, particularly for peak weeks like Christmas, New Year, and February half-term. Because FIL Alpin is a collective of elite professionals rather than a large school with hundreds of seasonal staff, our calendars are limited and fill up quickly. Booking early secures your preferred dates and ensures you are matched with the instructor best suited to your specific goals.
