ENJOY THE BEST WINTER TRIP OF YOUR LIFE
Let’s find you the perfect on snow experience in Arosa Lenzerheide
Why choose FIL Alpin over a traditional ski school in Arosa or Lenzerheide?
Choosing FIL Alpin over a traditional local school transforms your experience from a standard lesson into a seamless luxury ski safari. While typical schools often restrict operations to just one side of the valley, our private instructors view the entire Arosa Lenzerheide domain as your playground. We actively manage the logistics of the spectacular Urdenbahn connection, moving you between the sun-drenched bowls of Arosa and the sporty pistes of Lenzerheide based on where the snow and light are best at that very moment, ensuring you never worry about missing the last connection home.
We also eliminate the hassle of traveling to crowded central assembly points like Innerarosa or Fadail. Instead, we operate entirely on your schedule, meeting you directly at your hotel, private chalet in Valbella, or the nearest lift station. This door-to-slope service maximizes your time on the mountain. Furthermore, we act as your personal concierge; while group lessons might stop at a self-service cafeteria, we secure reservations at the region's finest mountain huts, guiding you to hidden culinary gems that standard groups simply miss.
Where are your meeting points?
We make it easy for you! We define the meeting point together based on what works best for your day.
We're happy to offer a complimentary "Meet & Greet" right at your hotel, or we can simply meet you directly on the slope if that’s your preference!
What languages do you speak?
Communication is key! Our international team ensures your private lesson is conducted fluently in the language you are most comfortable with. We proudly offer instruction in:
English, Italian, French, German, Swiss German, Dutch, and Russian.
What is the minimum age my child can start skiing and/or snowboarding?

How are Arosa and Lenzerheide connected?
The two resorts are linked by the spectacular Urdenbahn aerial tramway. This modern cable car connects the Hörnli (Arosa) with the Urdenfürggli (Lenzerheide) in just 5 minutes, creating a combined ski domain with 225 km of slopes. You can easily ski both valleys in a single day.
What does 29 freeride routes mean?
Arosa Lenzerheide is a freeride paradise. The resort features 29 designated itinerary runs (marked yellow on the map). These are secured against avalanches but left ungroomed, offering the thrill of backcountry powder skiing with the safety of a patrolled environment. Highlights include the steep couloirs on the Rothorn and the open powder fields of the Brüggerhorn.
How do I get to Arosa? Is the road difficult to drive?
The road from Chur to Arosa is famous for its 360 bends over 30 kilometers. While well-maintained, it can be challenging for those prone to car sickness or uncomfortable with mountain driving. A fantastic alternative is the Rhätische Bahn (RhB) train from Chur, which offers a relaxing, scenic hour-long ride directly to the village center and the ski lifts.
